When you install Ybackup on a computer you are taken through the set up process.

The set up of Briefcase prompts you whether you want it enabled, or not. If you choose not to enable it during installation you can enable it later on:
Open the Ybackup control panel and go to the “Services” tab and tick the 'Ybackup Briefcase' option.

If you enable the Briefcase you can choose whether to make changes to the advanced settings.
The Advanced Options allow you to control where the local cache is held on your machine, and how you want to store your Briefcase files.

You have the following options:
Automatically store all my files on my computer as well as storing them online - this option locally caches all of the files in the Briefcase for quick file access
Just store my files online and then manually choose which files to store on my computer - this option doesn't download files uploaded from another computer to save hard drive space

Again, you can make changes to these options after installation at any time.

When you enable the Briefcase the program will run a pre-synchronization check, and ensure your local Briefcase is synchronized with any Briefcase files already stored in your account on our servers.
