You can only share fully uploaded files within the Briefcase, and these can be shared both publically and privately.
To share from the web portal:
Please navigate to the file or folder in Briefcase, right click on it and select share.
To share from your Windows PC:
Please navigate to the file or folder in your local Briefcase, right click on it and select share.
To share from your Mac computer:
Please navigate to the file or folder in Briefcase, click on it, then click on the Ybackup icon and then 'Selected files' -> 'Share...'.
You will be prompted whether to share publicly, which will be available to anyone via your Ybackup home page, or privately, where the recipient gets a link to the private share.
In either instance only the file or folder shared is accessible.
Please note that sharing is controlled at the top-most level a share is applied. It isn't possible to share sub-folders with different permissions to their parent except where there is no sharing set at the parent level.
