If you prefer to keep your domain registered at its existing registrar upon signing up with DotCanada web hosting that is not a problem. You can keep your existing domain registrar and point your Domain Name Servers (DNS) to DotCanada. Instructions on how to do this will be in your Welcome to DotCanada email. This is a quick and easy approach to getting your site live on our servers. You need to note however that if you choose to keep your domain registered with an alternate registrar, DotCanada can not assist in management of that domain. If it expires, your website will no longer be available under that domain name and we will not be able to assist you in the renewal process.
